Mark Donatelli has been practicing law since 1986, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1981. Mark graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign in 1981 with a B.S. in Accountancy. He received his law degree with honors from DePaul University College of Law in 1986. Prior to starting the firm, Mark was associated with the Chicago law firms of Mayer, Brown & Platt and Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon, and as a result of his tenure with these law firms has extensive estate planning, estate administration, and corporate related matters.
Mark’s practice is concentrated in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, as well as creating new corporations/limited liability companies and related corporate transactions. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mark was associated with the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen LLP for several years. Mark was a member of the Village of Hinsdale's Plan Commission for six years. Mark also is a former member of the Board of Directors and is a past Officer of the Rotary Club of Hinsdale and the Hinsdale Central Foundation. Mark is currently a member of Busey Bank's Northern Illinois Advisory Board, a past Director of First Community Financial Bank, a past member of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Civic Advisory Board, a past Building Trustee for the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce, a past Treasurer of the Hinsdale/Clarendon Hills Jaycees and a Volunteer to the American Cancer Society’s Hoops for Life Fundraiser. Mark also coached teams for Hinsdale Little League Baseball, the Community House flag football program and Saint Isaac Jogues Basketball. Mark and his wife, Nancy, live in Willowbrook and Chicago's Lakeshore East neighborhood.
